Music can be the difference between being in a rut or in a groove. It helps you find your true voice. Through the ages, historically and culturally, music has been of great importance to students of all ages. I love being part of that tradition by teaching anyone who wants to learn.
My current favorite musical activity is working with small family and Friends groups. When teaching them to play music together feelings are expressed and encouraged ....and whether I am teaching indeviduals or groups... skills in attending, listening, cooperating, creativity and building social skills are all part of a package which gives students an educational advantage in living well.
